Italian Registries

In the nineties, the Italian Society of Nephrology (SIN; cfr.www.sin-italy.org) established the Italian Registry of Dialysis and Transplantation (RIDT), in order to collect and analyze information on the incidence, prevalence, morbidity and mortality of renal disease.
The RIDT is powered by the individual sections of the SIN (regional and interregional) which, over the years have enabled Registers local coverage, each structured independently.
SINED has developed procedures that WEB, fed directly by the regional dialysis centers, allowing the centralized collection of information on chronic kidney disease patients, waiting for kidney transplants from donor corpse.

The Regional Registries of the Italian Society of Nephrology hosted and maintained by SINED are currently as follows:

  • Sudtirol registry of Dialysis and Transplantation
  • Trentino registry of Dialysis and Transplantation
